Geertgen tot Sint Jans (c. 1460–c. 1490) was a Netherlandish artist. The limited documentation surrounding Geertgen requires care when describing his career. Later accounts connect him with Haarlem and the Knights of Saint John, but many details cannot be stated with certainty. The surviving pictures attributed to him offer firmer ground for looking.
